These debates will help share knowledge and break down disciplines, to better understand the crises and the scientific, technological, environmental and sociological transformations of our world.

From 19 to 21 November 2021, the attendees of the Rencontres Capitales will meet under the Dome, in the Grand Chamber and in the new auditorium of the Institut de France, but also in the Académie nationale de médecine.

In the course of 35 debates, scientists, business leaders, political and community leaders, philosophers, intellectuals, artists — who observe and change the world — will engage in a dialogue with an audience of 15,000, mostly made up of students and young professionals.

The 2021 edition of the Rencontres Capitales will also host the 17th Night of Philosophy.
